• Numerology is the study of numbers and their energetic influence on our lives. Because we see and interact with numbers every day, its easy to take them for granted. But numbers are symbols that carry energetic vibrations which impact humanity on a cosmic level. Every number's vibrations are unique and, therefore, each affects us in a different way.
• Numerology can be used to find direction and meaning in your life. It can also be used for forecasting, to see what kind of energy will be influencing you in the future. Many people even use Numerology as a resource when naming a child or business. The numbers present in a name impact its overall personality and potential, so some will put great intention into choosing a name that brings the desired results.
• Your birthday is made up entirely of numbers. Even the letters in your name correspond with specific numbers. There are numbers in your age, your address, your phone number, your paycheck... They are all around you -- and within you! The most direct way that they affect your energies is from your very own Numerology chart. The numbers in your chart -- like your Life Path and other core numbers -- influence you in very personal ways because they are derived from YOUR birth date and full name. 

• Obviously no one *needs* a tarot reading, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get one anyway. We don't need lots of things, but there are still ways in which we will benefit immensely from certain "non-essentials". Ways that promote personal growth, provide clarity and give guidance at any juncture. I'm definitely not of the mindset that you need to check in with tarot for every curious little thought that crosses your mind, but here are 5 really good reasons for consulting a reader if you want to get the most of this powerful tool.
• 1) You're faced with a decision and you would like some insight on the pros, cons and possible outcome of each direction. Tarot, coupled with a competent reader, can help break down for you the energetic climate of each path. This doesn't mean you'll be told what choice is better, but it does mean you'll be armed with the information you need to make a more informed decision. 
• 2) You feel stuck or in a rut. Tarot is a mirror, but it can also be a spark. It can help inspire you to see and breath new life into what seems like an old routine. Whether that means exposing your blocks and barriers or prompting you to dive into something fresh and exciting, tarot can bust down those walls and help you see the many paths available.

USING ESSENTIAL OILS SAFELY

• It is important to enjoy the benefits of essential oils while using them safely and responsibly. This includes never using them undiluted, performing a skin patch test prior to use, being knowledgeable about the sun's effects after use, and sourcing them from an ethical brand known for quality and purity.

External use only

• As with all other New Directions Aromatics products, essential oils are for external use only. Essential oils must never be used near the eyes, inner nose, and ears, or on any other particularly sensitive areas of skin. It is imperative to consult a medical practitioner before using these oils for therapeutic purposes.

Pregnancy and other health conditions

• Pregnant and nursing women are especially advised not to use essential oils without the medical advice of a physician.
• Those with the following health conditions are especially recommended to consult the advice of a physician: cancer, heart-related ailments, skin disorders or allergies, hormone-related ailments, or epilepsy.
• Individuals that are taking prescription drugs, undergoing major surgery, or who are at a greater risk of experiencing strokes, heart attacks, or atherosclerosis are also advised to seek medical consultation prior to use.

Children and safety

• These oils should always be stored in an area that is inaccessible to children, especially those under the age of seven.

How to conduct a skin patch test

• Prior to using any essential oil, a skin test is recommended. This can be done by diluting 1 drop of the essential oil in 4 drops of a carrier oil and applying a dime-size amount of this blend to a small area of non-sensitive skin.

Essential oil side effects

• Potential side effects of essential oils include redness, rash, hives, burning, bleeding disorders, decreased speed of healing, low blood pressure, dizziness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, convulsions, and rapid heartbeat. In the event of an allergic reaction, discontinue use of the products and see a doctor, pharmacist, or allergist immediately for a health assessment and appropriate remedial action. To prevent side effects, consult with a medical professional prior to use.

•  Crystals are healing tools that provide emotional and mental support.  They can be used to anchor us to healthy energies such as hope, courage, patience and willpower.  
• Crystals have been associated with specific body parts for thousands of years.  Crystal healing isn’t “new age” – it is a very ancient practice that is older than medicine or religion. 
•  Crystals can be used as talismans (objects that evoke good energy) and amulets (objects that protect against bad energy). Healing the body is rarely easy or fast.  It may require lifestyle changes and/or modern medicine.  
• Your healing journey may go smoothly, or it may be a bumpy and twisty road.  Every healing journey has its unique challenges and will impact us psychologically. 
•  A wise person takes care of both the physical body and the emotional soul that lives inside it. 

Possible side effects of using crystals

• Crystal energy is real, and for some people, they may experience some side effects after being in contact with them, or when working with their energies. In the mineralogical kingdom, quartz crystals (SiO2) are considered to be amongst the strongest conductors of metaphysical energy. Certain side effects could be experienced with crystals, most noticeably with quartz crystals.
• You should become familiar with, and prepared for any possible side effects of working with crystals, whether on others, or on yourself. Some possible side effects that are mainly associated with quartz crystals are:

Diarrhea

• Sometimes, overexposure to crystals may result in an upset stomach or diarrhea. The person may not be ready to handle the influx of quartz energy yet. If you feel the crystal is too large, downsize to a smaller one or use it for a lesser time period in a day. Sometimes, the problem could be due to a crystal healing arrangement that resulted in an overdose of incoming energy, or because of using a too high a conductive metal as in crystal jewelry.

Energy tingles

• During crystal healing, you may experience energy tingles that feel like small “pins and needles” happening at random spots on the body. You may also experience hot and cold flushes alternating between each other. These are all signs that the body is experiencing energy fluxes and trying to correct the holes in the etheric body that require meshing up. If these experiences get too much, remove the crystal(s) until the next time.

Headaches

• Headaches are common side effects that happen because the energy from the crystal is getting modulated with the energies of the brain that have their seat in the pineal gland. The combination of the pituitary and pineal gland powers the Third Eye, the sixth sense that is getting stimulation from the crystal energies passing through it. If your Third Eye has been dormant all this while, than a sudden stimulation from a crystal could cause a headache. It should be taken positively to mean that the energies in the brain are now finally getting stimulated, but prudence is advised. The crystal(s) causing the headache should of course be removed, until tolerance has been built via gradual assimilation.

Emotional swings

• Crystals may cause emotional reactions that can be quite unpredictable. Crying, laughing, and euphoria are some of the emotional reactions that have been observed in people undergoing crystal healing. This is due to the negative emotional baggage that many of us carry from childhood, which are now suddenly being worked upon by crystal energy. As they are being dissolved, people commonly report feeling emotional swings.

Dizziness

• Another reaction especially after a healing session with crystals is feeling light headed or dizzy. If the person has been lying down throughout the entire session, sit up gradually and avoid standing until the lightheadedness has passed.

Take everything gradually…

• You may also feel increased sensitivity to certain external stimuli such as TV programs or songs. Certain elements in the media or sounds/smells/pictures may trigger long lost memories from childhood, and may not be welcomed. Therefore, care should always be exercised to ensure the healing process is gradual and tolerable at all times. Healing should never be rushed.
